We owe this lot a fucking pasting, so I hope we dish one out. One positive of suspensions and mixed squad for last night is that more players should be that tiny bit fresher (yes yes I know it's three games in but a week's rest is obviously more beneficial than two days) for this than they might have been.

Ogbonna coming through last night is huge so hopefully he's back properly in a couple of weeks and I guess we actually have some options at the back now with Kehrer coming in. Very excited about his versatility. Superb pass to Benrahma last night

I think some of the attacking starters from last night will be subs on Sunday, like Scamacca and Cornet and those who started on the bench will start this game. (Fucking hell we can rotate players now we have some options, and actually bring on some subs who are able to make an impact)

I would love to see Kehrer there, pacey and positive with the ball, unfortunately we have no cbs so unlikely at the moment

fraser - Sure, I meant if he can get a top CM in. Of course he will start Sunday and no doubt will do the square root of fuck all. I don't hate the bloke, far from it, good honest pro who can nick a goal and has been decent value, but woefully lacking as an all round modern day CM, we really need better and think Moyes knows this now.

It's a big game for Moyes. A below par performance and a loss will leave is bottom. Pressure will start to build. Not a good place to be.

I said Monday we need a good week in the window. We got Kerher. Veneken looks likely and Emerson is now back on. I said we need a decent result in Europe, which we got. And we need a win at home to Brighton. Hopefully come Sunday we have that win and confirmation of one or two more players.

Then we can all take a breath and get our season underway properly.
